  Features

  Serial Input/Parallel Output Design:The 74HC164D,653 uses an 8-bit serial input/parallel output architecture to support efficient conversion from serial to parallel data.

  Dual Inputs and High Flexibility:The device features two serial data inputs(DSA and DSB)that can be used as high level enable inputs,and data is shifted by a low-to-high jump on the clock input(CP).

  Asynchronous Master Reset Function:The low-level Master Reset input(MR)clears the registers and forces all outputs low independently of other inputs.

  High Reliability and ESD Protection:The 74HC164D,653 provides Electrostatic Discharge(ESD)protection in excess of 2000V for Human Body Models(HBM)and 200V for Mechanical Models(MM)in accordance with JEDEC Standard 7A.

  Multiple Package Options:The shift registers are available in a variety of package options to accommodate different design requirements.
